CHARMING antique Victorian hand embroidered box and English silver thimble.
This is very cute , the box had royal purple velvet covering but over time it has worn down just leaving the very pretty hand embroidery. It is a metal box with cloth covering. The thimble most likely not original to the box is a bit later dated Chester for 1907 by silver smiths Henry Griffith and sons.
The thimble is beautifully hallmarked, it has a small hole on the back as shown in the image, however it is lovely and did come with the sweet little Victorian thimble box.
The box measures about 1.5 inches by 1 inch and stands about .75 inches high, it snaps shut and despite the worn velvet it is decorative with the sweet embroidery being in wonderful condition.

Also, we cannot be held responsible for sensitive time delivery; we hold no power over the postal system as to how quickly they deliver. We do not refund for buyer's remorse nor for lost packages. In the rare event that your package is lost, we will be happy to try to trace the package or provide you with a shop credit-no refunds, since we can provide proof of shipping. In the very rare case that a pattern is missing a piece/pieces, we will provide a shop credit only if you alert us to this situation within 3 days of receiving the pattern. Unfortunately, a few people had abused our return policy, since patterns can be easily copied. Please understand this. We will be happy to answer any questions!
